Paddle Agitator
The paddle agitator is a large-diameter low-speed agitator with a simple structure. The blades are made of flat steel and fixed to the hub by welding or bolts.
SYNCS products are mainly used in the daily chemical industry with high sanitary requirements, so they are made of 316 stainless steel and welded and fixed.
The number of blades of the paddle agitator can be 2, 3 or 4. The blades can be divided into straight blades, inclined blades, arc blades, folded blades and composite blades.
The complete set of paddle agitator is composed of agitator, agitating shaft, bearing device, frame, motor, reducer and some connecting accessories.
Application of paddle agitator
• In the liquid-liquid system, it is used to prevent separation and make the temperature of the tank uniform. It is mostly used to prevent solids from settling in solid-liquid systems
• Under the same conditions, inclined blades have less power consumption than straight blades, lower operating costs, and have better overall effects, so oblique blades are used more frequently
• When used for mixing high-viscosity liquids, it can also obtain good results instead of expensive helical ribbon agitators
• When the liquid level in the storage tank is high, a multi-tilted blade agitator can be used
